WINter Essential Drive
92.5 JOE FM is proud to tell you about the WINter Essentials Drive on Saturday February 4th, at the Alpha Psi sorority house at the Universiy of Alberta.
Every year, the devoted group of Alpha Psi women set out to collect kitchen and household essentials to donate to WIN House, a shelter for women and children affected by domestic violence. In the past four years, Alpha Psi members have collected a huge amount of items, even filling the WIN House boardroom.
They will be colleting the donations from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Items needed include household items, such as shower curtains, kettles, toasters, mixers, can openers, pots, radios, alarm -locks, and pillows. As well as child care and personal care items ie. diapers, bottles, rattles, toothpaste and hair dyers.

Alberta Winter Games
JOE is excited to tell you about 2012 Alberta Winter Games which are coming to Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland County Feb. 9th - 12th!
The 2012 Alberta Winter Games celebrate the achievements of youth in sport and culture. More than 2,800 athletes, coaches, officials, and performers will participate in the Games, competing in a variety of sports in and around the tri municipal region. These Games provide the opportunity for many of Canada's future elite athletes to enjoy their first taste of competition at a provincial level.

Epic Impact Day
Play a heroic role in the journey to conquer cancer on Epic Impact Day, February 9!
It’s one day with one simple goal: to have every Rider get at least one donation to their Ride.
Whether it’s $10 or $10,000, the money you raise will be put to immediate use by providing breakthrough research, innovative treatments and critical services to those in need right here in our community.
Epic Impact Day is THE day to give. Encourage your friends and family to do their part in the battle to end cancer and give from the heart on Epic Impact Day, February 9.

Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser
92.5 JOE FM is proud to present the Annual Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser at On The Rocks on Feb. 24!
Get your game on and support the Kinette Club of Edmonton and Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Enjoy 50/50 draws, raffles, games and may more. Tickets are $20 and that includes cover, a drink, and wings!

Benefit for Bissell
Presented by Riverbend Junior High’s Grade 9 Leadership Class, this Benefit Concert and Silent Auction is a night that you will never forget. Staged in Citadel’s stunning Maclab theatre and featuring performances by Martin Kerr (of Canadian Idol fame) and Maren Ord (2001 Juno nominee) and many others; prepare yourself for an exciting night of entertainment. Don’t forget to head up to the Tucker Theatre prior to the concert and at intermission to indulge in our splendid Silent Auction. All proceeds for the night will be donated to Bissell Centre to help those in need in Edmonton’s inner city. To top it all off, the entire event is being run by Riverbend Junior High’s grade nine leadership class! Don’t hesitate –support your city and let us entertain you!

Laughing Out Loud Charity Comedy Night
92.5 JOE FM is proud to be a part of the Laughing Out Loud Charity Comedy Night on March 9th!
GEF Seniors Housing has been an active partner in the community in providing safe, affordable, quality housing and services to low-income seniors. Their Laughing Out Loud Comedy Night and Silent Auction will feature the great comedy talents of Lars, Callieou, Scott Belford, and David Dempsey and all the proceeds of the night go directly to the Building for Life fund.

92.5 JOE FM is proud to be a part of the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer from June 23rd to 24th.
Gear up for The Ride of a Lifetime. Join thousands fo riders of all abilities for an unforgettable 2-day cycling adventure to end cancer, a disease that affects 1 in 2 Albertans in their lifetime.
Riders get total support along the way: training rides, expert coaching, and a manual with all the information needed to succeed. The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves for a great cause. All you need is motivation, a bike, and a helmet.
